The ending expected you to collect all 3 Owl Tokens so that you would get to go to the "Eternal Sanctuary" read all the holograms (including the secret one too) and piece the story together. It seems rushed because of the way the ending was told. It is a very deep and well thought out story. The ending may seem unsatisfying at first because it seems kind of rushed and with many holes and questions unaswered, although it wasnt.
